“The Nutritional Reversal of Cardiovascular Disease: Fact or Fiction?”
Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn author of the best-selling book “Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease”, is a ground-breaking pioneer in preventive and restorative cardio-vascular medicine whose scientific publications number over 150. Dr. Esselstyn in the CNN special, “The Last Heart Attack” and other CNN programs, relating to his role in President Clinton’s decision to become a vegan. Dr. Esselstyn will speak on the epidemic of cardiovascular disease, that is nonexistent in cultures which thrive predominantly on whole foods, plant-based nutrition. But is it logical to assume that patients with this disease would be willing to transition to a plant-based option which is safe, inexpensive, empowering, and has the potential to end cardiovascular disease epidemic — while standard cardiovascular approaches have failed?
